Beginners – 2 x 1½ Hour Lessons For Just £50 (Manual or Automatic)

Getting Started

Before you can drive on the road, you need to have a provisional driving licence.  If you have a passport, you can apply online here.  The earliest that you can apply for your provisional licence is when you are 16, so that your first lesson out on the road could be on your 17th birthday

Beginners Course (2 x 90 minute lessons) £50

This is for you if you have little or no driving experience. Your Instructor will collect you from a place to suit you (eg; home, college or work) and they will take you to either a car park or quiet road and teach you how to pull off and stop using the basic controls. The Instructor has dual controls to keep you safe. You will be driving at slow speeds to gradually build up your confidence. You will also learn how to steer the car, change through the gears and start learning how to put into practice the MSM routine (Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre). At Anderby, we will teach you the manoeuvres in the early stages of your driving. We have found that this not only gives you great satisfaction and confidence, but improves your ability of observation and control of the car at slow speeds.

After the Beginners Course (or Assessment Lesson), we offer ongoing lessons at competitive rates. Please click on your nearest town/area for prices:

- Grimsby/ North East Lincolnshire

- Scunthorpe

- Lincoln

- Hull

Our goal is to ensure you are happy with our services, to teach you to drive safely and to get you through the driving test in a time frame that suits you. Lessons can be structured around your availability, time and financial constraints. The content of lessons will be flexible to your needs - for example, all Manoeuvres will be checked or taught as appropriate (Turn in the road, Left reverse, Parallel and Bay Parking), as well as how to stop the car in an emergency, dual carriageway driving, independent driving - right through to carrying out Mock Tests - so that you can get used to the pressure of driving on your own like the Driving Test and beyond.
